The weather in Costa del Sol

The weather in Costa del Sol is renowned for being warm the whole year round, boasting more than 300 days of sun per year. Although in summer it reaches very high temperatures, sometimes up to 35ºC, it is during the rest of the year when we can really enjoy Costa del Sol, because there are sunny and warm days here when in other parts of the world it is cold and frosty.

Nobody knows precisely weather in Costa del Sol, for example, in April, May, October, and also in winter it rains sometimes.
Malaga city has a Mediterranean climate with natural beauties that have made this city become a highly desired destination. It begins in June and ends in September. During June the temperature rises to 27° C, and in the following months rises to 29°C. You can enjoy the rays of the sun for approximately 11 hours, and in September 8 hours. Rainy days in July and August are very rare.

AUTUMN WEATHER IN COSTA DEL SOL

From October to November climate is still humid and warm. In October, the temperature will be reduced to 23°C, and in November to 19°C. Throughout the sea temperature is pleasant and you can swim. Rains often arrive in November, the rainiest month of the season.

WINTER WEATHER IN COSTA DEL SOL

Winter season is very pleasant and warm. This season is known as the warmest in Europe. Rains are frequent and the sun heats the city only 5 hours per day. January is the coldest month of the year, with temperatures between 16°C and 7°C. Snow is very rare.

SPRING WEATHER IN COSTA DEL SOL

Begins in March and ends in May. It’s a great station for visiting Malaga. The sky is very clear in this period and temperatures rise. Overnight temperatures are cold, but are very suitable for tourists. People enjoy the sun in April for 7 hours per day, and in May rises to nearly 9 hours.
